With over 35 years of providing senior care in nursing homes, Brenda has dedicated her career to providing compassionate leadership and person-centered care.

Brenda has been at St. Francis for 26 years and has a strong passion for providing excellent service to the senior community.

Vercin Ephrem, MD

Medical Director

Dr. Vercin Ephrem serves as our Medical Director. With over two decades of healthcare leadership experience, Dr. Ephrem is passionate about improving outcomes for our residents, providing clinical oversight and guiding our interdisciplinary care teams with a focus on chronic disease management, infection control, and reduced hospital readmissions.

He often says his favorite part of the job is talking with residents—who tend to have the best stories, the sharpest humor, and frequently better life advice than most textbooks.

Asiah Elmasry, BSN, RN

Director of Nursing

Asiah serves as the Director of Nursing at St. Francis, where she leads the nursing team, oversees clinical care, and supports residents and their families with compassion and dedication.

She has worked in skilled nursing since 2005, beginning her career as a Licensed Nursing Assistant for 8 years before becoming a nurse in 2013.

Asiah is deeply passionate about working with the elderly and building meaningful relationships with our residents, while helping them navigate this important stage of life.

Heather DeFosses is our Apartment Manager for the Bishop Bradley Senior Living Community, where she keeps the apartments up to date and filled with happy tenants.

With a social service degree and over 20 years of supporting the senior community as an LNA, Heather respects and appreciates that the ending stage of life is just as fun as the beginning stage of life.

Nikki Dickson, MBA

Nikki Dickson is our Social Services and Admissions Director here at St. Francis, where she plays a key role in helping residents and families transition into long-term care.

She has over 20 years of experience in healthcare, starting as an LNA and spending the past decade in long-term care social services, offering both experience and a steady reassuring presence.

Nikki enjoys learning each resident’s story and takes pride in making what can feel like an overwhelming process a little easier – and a lot more personal.

Rachael Rollins, OT, CDP

Rachael is our Life Enrichment Director. With over 25 years of experience in healthcare, Rachael finds immense pleasure in assisting residents in finding purpose, fulfillment and joy in their daily lives through group and individual programming.

She loves to discover creative, fun ways to engage with the residents while honoring their pasts and unique histories.

Delana Cullen

Business Office Manager

Delana has dedicated her career to healthcare since 2013, bringing a unique perspective after a previous career as a paralegal. She says the most rewarding part of her work is the time she spends with our residents.
